AU-Just Another Mission- Prologue

The slow and simple melody
of tears you cannot keep from me
it's all right if you don't know
what you need.
I was listening to "Porcelain" by my favorite band, Marianas Trench, on repeat.  That song was just… way too beautiful to me.
I was getting really lost into the music when the phone started to ring, ruining the cute, sweet, emotional mood the song had started to put me in.
"Hello?"
"Hey Geety!"  I heard my friend, Rosie, say into the phone.
"Oh, hey, what's up?"
"The group is going to the beach for a week. Wanna come?  You'll probably say yes anyways."
"I don't know, I mean, a whole week?" I shrugged, taking my headphones off from around my neck.
I heard a very familiar Italian accent from the background, and after that, I heard a, "Feli says hi."
Damn Rosie.  Probably knew that would get me.
"Our entire group?" I asked, trying to control my level of Geety-flusteredness, as I like to call it.
"Yeah!"
"That's going to be interesting… fine, I'll come."
